The Eyes Are the Windows to the Soul

So I mean, I guess if you've made it here, you want to know more about me? 

My name is Briggitte. I'm really picky about the way people pronounce my name. It's not "Bridget". The easiest way I can describe it is: Brih-jeet. I know it sounds kind of dumb that I'm even talking about this, but when in your entire life almost everyone pronounces it "Bridget" at first meeting, it becomes something that stays on your mind. But enough about that.

I'm a Virgo. And I mostly fit that description. Born to serve, modest and humane (I hope so), brain always on overdrive, skeptic, over-thinker, studious, interested in understanding things, reliable and practical, and grounded. I mean, I'd like to think I'm like this.

I'm a teenager. I'm in high school. I'm an old soul. I have my moments. I love my friends and I couldn't live without my family.  I adore my dog. I adore animals in general (I'm allergic to cats though....)

Now I'm not going to get into politics or religion here, because I simply don't think this is the place for me to just spout of my beliefs. I'll give you this: I'm a strict believer in people's rights, I truly do believe in the Golden Rule, and am a big believer in Karma. 

I'm prone to obsess over things (movies, television shows, singers, people, etc.). 

I like spending time alone. I'm an only child and so I grew up alone. Now don't get me wrong, I love being around people (the ones I'm comfortable with anyways), but sometimes I really just want to be home alone or just in my room alone. 

I have many role models for many different reasons. Some are: Desi Arnaz, Lucille Ball, Bobby Kennedy, Michael Jackson, Larry Hagman, Johnny Depp, Gabrielle Anwar, and Hannah Hart. Trust me the list can go on and on as I slowly find more and more people to add onto it. (Eventually I want to do a post dedicated to each person about why they're my role model, but I guess if you see their names as links, then I have done them)

As much as I love the movies, the television, the wonders of social networking, the internet, and the magic of YouTube, what I think I love most of all is music. I don't really know what I would do without it. I mean, it's helped me through things when I've needed it, and I know it'll never not be there for me. My taste in music could just deserve a whole post in itself, it's so varied.

Honestly, that's all I can think of now, and I've probably bored you so you didn't even make it this far down the page...but if you did... Thank you for taking the time out of your day to even read this.
